Writer Block

hmmm...

so I've been looking hard at low-residency MFA - in other words, a Masters of Fine Arts, where I can do 95% of the work online, and 5% is on campus. So I only have to go to a campus for 10 days per semester. I can soo do that AND work full time!

I am really not too sure why I am so intent on looking at this. I don't have oodles of money laying around. And I know I can borrow - loans and maybe some scholarships - I'm just now waiting for the packets to arrive to look at some pretty campus' and see how much my hair brained idea costs.

So... anyone else look into this, or did it? I am very confused why this is in my mind... A masters would mean a whole new world would open up. I could teach on the college level. At the end of the 2 years, I would have a finished manuscript, ready for publishing. I could have opportunities to .... I don't know! If I do this, it ultimately will be for ME. I want to know more, I hunger for more knowledge - maybe it's because I work in a place where knowledge isn't looked upon as something to be possessed, something that is worthy of the pursuit.

I don't know, it's just something I have been thinking about for a while.
